Small sensors, big effect: microsensors in dialysis

The desire to develop novel or compact devices in medical technology raises the following questions, for example: How can signals be reliably converted and fluidic processes precisely controlled and regulated in a small installation space so that all safety and quality standards are met? How can other components be seamlessly integrated? How is a long service life guaranteed? At the centre of this is the precise signal processing, calibration and high state of function of the individual functions. All of this is in a hygienic environment in which high water quality plays a major role. This white paper presents solutions to all these challenges and emphasises the advantages of innovative microsensor components using the example of dialysis. The development opportunities for portable solutions are also highlighted. This is because portable solutions can open the door to new healthcare.
