Frequently asked questions

Universal mounting variants that work for any manufacturer

Our SideCONTROL positioners are versatile and can be used on part-turn and linear actuators that comply with NAMUR standards (in accordance with IEC 60534-6-1 and VDI/VDE 3845 or IEC 60534-6-2). They are therefore fully compatible with most common actuators on the market.

In the remote variant with remote position sensor, the SideCONTROL positioners can also be used with Bürkert Type 2301 and Type 2300 ELEMENT actuators (actuator sizes Ø 70/90/130/225 mm). This combination is suitable, for example, for when space is limited at the valve or in conditions with high ambient temperatures.   

We also offer adapter solutions for special requirements. This means that direct mounting is also possible for actuators without a standardised interface. We have a special adapter kit for Type 3277 Samson actuators, universally compatible for mounting all SideCONTROL types and suitable for valve strokes from 7.5 mm to 30 mm.
