Optimising, modernising and automating production tools

To optimise, modernise and automate the production tools at the La Courneuve site in the Paris region, ORGANOTECHNIE chose Bürkert France for multiple pieces of equipment, including an overhaul of the supervision systems (valves, actuators, conductivity sensors, pneumatic blocks…), as well as the integration of a new, more compact manifold.

“The assignment carried out for Organotechnie was multi-faceted: advice and support, identification of problems and implementation of multiple solutions to enable the client to modernise its equipment and make significant gains in productivity and ease of use. In summary, it is almost entirely Bürkert know-how that has been installed at the site.”

Mehdy Abadou, Technical and Commercial Engineer at Burkert France

Application | Draining the tank

Installation of our inerting system to improve control during a pressurised transfer. This has made it possible to simplify the existing solution by reducing consumption of pneumatic air and achieving optimal regulation thanks to pressure sensors.

Application | Purified water dosing line, validation of water quality with conductivity measurement

Installation of a FLOWave flowmeter (Type 8098), a diaphragm valve (Type 2103), and a conductivity sensor (Type 8221). Improved maintenance thanks to automated conductivity dosage: + Better measurement accuracy + Monitoring purified water distribution activities in processes

Application | Automation of the pneumatic installation

Installation of a control cabinet, entirely designed by Bürkert, including a Siemens pneumatic block, Type 8647, and a multiCELL, multifunction transmitter/controller (Type 8619). Modernisation and automation: + Supply of air to all valves + Harmonisation of process valves + Precise control thanks to the pneumatic block + Full inlet/outlet information via PLC + Profinet communication

Application | Dosage and distribution

Replacement of unhygienic ball valves with a Robolux valve (Type 2036) Better distribution and automated management + 100% hygienic + No retention area

Application | Thermal exchange SKID

Installation of a multiCELL, multifunction transmitter/controller (Type 8619) in a box, a manual ball valve (Type 2654), and a control valve (Type 8802). Equipment automation + Continuous measurement implemented + Simplified process and reduced costs + Temperature control

Application | Dosage of chemical reagents

Dosage of five chemical reagents in order to supply two tanks, in compliance with food standards and reducing congestion. New generation products: Valve cluster with globe valves Type 8801, equipped with control heads Type 8695 and flowmeter with digital display (Type 8035) + Increased process reliability + Reduction in risk of leaks + Easier maintenance + Reduction in congestion and access at ground level

“The expertise of Bürkert France was essential for the implementation and modernisation of our industrial applications and challenges.”

Jean-Raymond Lebeau, Process & Methods Manager at Organotechnie
