Efficient and reliable gas control in the material analysis

Legal requirements (e.g. EU Food Containment Regulation 2023/915) or internal quality standards at device manufacturers and their customers make it necessary to know the exact composition of materials (e.g. soil, waste, metals, minerals or chemical compounds). Accordingly, reliable analysis devices are needed to precisely determine the amount of heavy metals in the material samples, for example.

Spectroscopy methods in material analysis

Depending on the sample to be analysed, various spectroscopies (e.g. atomic absorption and emission spectroscopy (AAS & AES), inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS), spark spectroscopy or X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF)) are used in material analysis.

What role does the gas control play in the material analysis?

Reliable and reproducible gas control is essential in associated analysis devices in order to deliver consistently precise results.

Individual gas control systems

Based on your requirements, our experts develop optimally customised gas control systems, with or without electronics, depending on what the customer wants. To do this, we draw on our broad product portfolio of tried-and-tested standard components (e.g. valves, pressure controllers and electronic components). This means your system is optimised for your analysis device in terms of functionality and installation space.

System expertise

Use a customised system that is best suited to your needs. Our experts work with you to develop the best solution to control the gas in your analysis device. You will also benefit from short development times, high integration of components and short delivery times.

Compact construction

Our compact systems enable you to make best use of the installation space in your AAS-AES, ICP-MS, XFA spectrometer or spark spectrometer and build more compact devices with the same functionality.

Precise fluid handling for your material analysis devices

We also analyse fluidic processes because as fluidics experts, we develop solutions for your analysis devices (e.g. AAS & AES, ICP-MS, spark spectrometers or XFA spectrometers) from customised components to individually tailored systems. You will find a selection here – discover more with a non-binding consultation.
