Mass flow controllers compliant with USP Class VI

The challenge when producing bacteria, fungi or cell cultures lies in the exact adherence to the respective general requirements. Above all, the precise regulation of gas quantities in fermentation processes must be adapted to the needs of the constantly increasing cultures. Bürkert Fluid Control Systems presents mass flow controllers (MFCs) featuring a wide adjustment range, excellent repeat accuracy and documentation functions for reproducible processes. The devices comply with the approvals USP Class VI, FDA, 3.1 certificate and EC 1935.

Flowmeter for the precise detection of media changeover

Strict quality and hygiene regulations must be adhered to in food and beverage production. Therefore, production plants need to be cleaned regularly when changing over batches or products. At the same time, the production process should, however, be carried out as efficiently as possible. The FLOWave flowmeter from Bürkert Fluid Control Systems now offers extended functions, including the extremely fast and precise detection of media changeovers. As part of the ‘Aktion Plagiarius’, a copy of the Bürkert angle seat valve Type 2000 was singled out for special recognition as this year’s most brazen imitation. The company from Ningbo in China copied all of the typical Bürkert design elements, thereby infringing the registered copyright. The negative prize aims to raise public awareness of the theft of intellectual property by product and brand pirates.
