Future-proof process valves – ready for upcoming EU requirements
How do you make sure your valves will still be compliant, available and right for your application in a few years’ time?

We are gradually transitioning our process valve portfolio from gunmetal to lead-free CF8 stainless steel. This means you will meet upcoming RoHS requirements by June 2027 while securing a stable, long-term supply.
At a glance:
- Lead-free, RoHS-compliant materials for thread sizes DN15–DN65
- CF8 will progressively replace gunmetal variants, including our pneumatically operated angle seat valves (Type 2000) and related valve automation systems (Types 8801/8803) for G, NPT and RC threads
- CF3M remains available as a proven stainless-steel option
- During the transition phase, existing gunmetal and new CF8/CF3M options will remain available in parallel wherever possible
- Validated performance at the level you expect from Bürkert
Now is the right time to review your applications and plan the transition.
Let us support you: Your local Bürkert team will provide you with information for further product types and help you select, approve and implement the new, future-proof valve variants.
