Schwarzer Precision – the German market leader in development and production of miniature pumps for high-end applications is a subsidiary of the Bürkert Group since July 1st, 2015. Its product portfolio represents a perfect supplement to the Bürkert Group. The know-how of Schwarzer Precision in pumping technology enables us to increase our competences in system solutions and our innovation skills in fluid systems. Thus we do a step further to achieve our goal becoming the worldwide leading partner within our business for integrated system solutions.
Schwarzer Precision GmbH & Co KG was founded in 1970 by Jürgen Schwarzer as a manufacture of aquarium- and terrarium equipment and of biological heating- and filtration systems. During the years the company has turned successfully into a manufacture of miniature diaphragm pumps for industrial applications.
Since 1995 Schwarzer Precision is managed by the married couple Vera and Marcus Schwarzer in second generation. In course of the successful succession an investment program was set up to align the company consequently as a supplier for medicine and laboratorial technology, environmental technology as well as measurement and control technology. This renewed alignment caused a massive extension of the product range. Nowadays this range contains gas- and liquid pumps, which do not only include diaphragm pumps, but mini vane pumps, piston pumps and linear and rotary pumps either. Highlights in the product range are the worldwide smallest diaphragm and mini vane pumps. In 2011, Schwarzer Precision has been awarded the “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“.
Schwarzer Precision stands for expertise and experience in developing and manufacturing high-precision engineered pumps since more than 40 years. Customers all over the world from several industries rely on this know-how and its related technology.
The company is located in Essen, Germany, since its foundation und moved into a completely new building in 2012, where are all company functions situated.
