Application-specific system solution for the beverage industry

Given the ever-changing circumstances in on-site plants, there are no one-size-fits-all solutions for automation systems in the beverage industry. Which is why Bürkert offers individual support for wide-ranging development projects at the Systemhaus Dortmund. As a fluidics specialist - with equal expertise in electromechanical systems and switch cabinet construction - we support you every step of the way, from conception, costing and development, right up to assembly and testing.

This scope also includes supplying and commissioning complete solutions with global approval for all conceivable process environments, including potentially explosive zones. This all-inclusive one-stop principle is what guarantees high quality and significant time-savings, thanks to offering a single point of contact and designing, manufacturing and assembling our products under one roof. The complete system solution is ready for connection, tested and delivered to the customer with all necessary approvals and certificates (e.g. ATEX or UL).

Connection-ready pneumatic control and a hygienic design

Such complete systems from Bürkert Systemhaus Dortmund are typified by the Hygienic Design switch cabinet, which breaks new ground in the present-day food and beverage industry. The control cabinets come in three standard sizes or individually tailored to the plant requirements. Modular valve islands are mounted with a stainless steel adapter plate directly in the hygienic control cabinet and pre-wired, as is done for other components. The ready-to-connect, tested and certified pneumatic control system can then be placed close to actuators and sensors within the hygiene-sensitive process environment. This helps save on material and installation costs, as well as making them easier to clean. Comprehensively standardising the individual components helps speed up delivery, while applying a modular concept allows individual adjustment for applications. An overview of the individual modules should make the task of selecting and configuring easier for the customer.
