SideControl 8792/8793

The new SideControl 8792 positioner offers excellent control accuracy combined with outstanding dynamic properties. It is equipped with a sturdy and reliable pneumatic actuation system. As it can be mounted in various different ways to linear and rotary actuators according to IEC534-6/VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR) as well as to Bürkert process valves, the 8792 is extremely flexible and suitable for a wide range of applications. For example, it can be attached direct to the actuator, used as an extended version or also installed in a switching cabinet. Thanks to its compact and strong IP65/IP67-proof aluminium housing, the SideControl 8792 is ideally suited for use under tough ambient conditions. As a process controller (type 8793) with automatic control line detection (temperature, pressure, filling level and flow rate) and automated parameterisation, the device is the ideal solution for decentralised process control with optional simultaneous feedback to the control level.
The 8792 positioner can be easily operated through a large backlit graphic display and offers a comprehensive range of functions. The menu control of the SideControl unit is operated through an intuitive 4-key panel that is very easy to use.
